On 16 November 2009, UNPOS in cooperation with the Government of Uganda, began the training of officers of the Ministry of National Security of Somalia. The training was in keeping with efforts towards building the capacity of the Transitional Federal Government's security sector, a critical factor in Somalia's quest for peace and stability.
