As Special Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations in the Central African Republic and Head of MINUSCA, I am honored to present to you, on behalf of the entire United Nations System in the Central African Republic, our warmest wishes for this new year, 2023.

I hope this new year will meet the deepest aspirations of the Central African people and government, particularly peace, so that the women, men, daughters, and sons of the Central African Republic can live safely and in dignity.
