Good Offices
MINUSCA conducts good offices activities with national stakeholders across the entire political spectrum to promote inclusive political dialogue among all socio-political actors.
Through these efforts, the Mission helps consolidate the gains of both the political process and the peace process at the national and local levels.
At the local level, MINUSCA also undertakes good offices initiatives with local stakeholders to address the root causes of tensions, violence, and conflict, while mitigating their impact on affected communities.
Support to National Institutions
MINUSCA provides technical assistance to initiatives led by national institutions to strengthen their capacities, promote national ownership of political and electoral processes, and enhance public confidence in state institutions.
Between 2023 and 2025, the Mission brought together political stakeholders to support the preparation and conduct of the 2025–2026 electoral cycle. As part of these efforts, MINUSCA worked to promote the meaningful participation of women, youth, internally displaced persons (IDPs), refugees, and returnees in political and electoral processes.
