07 Oct 2015 - A Burundian peacekeeper working for the United Nations Multidimensional Stabilization Mission in Central African Republic (MINUSCA) was killed on Tuesday 6 October 20l5, during an attack on a MINUSCA convoy between Damara and Ngerengou, in the Ombella M'Poko Prefecture.
One other Burundian soldier was injured when unidentified armed individuals opened fire on UN troops, 55 km, north of Bangui.

United Nations soldiers vigorously fired back in response to this coward act, forcing the assailants to flee riding a motorbike.
