    A blue helmet of the Bangladeshi contingent of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA), Lance Corporal Nazrul Islam, died on Thursday 09 April 2015, following an accident which occurred in Boali, in the Prefecture of Ombella M’Poko, 90 km from Bangui.

    The United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) welcomes the release of the Central African Minister of Youth and Sports, Armel Ningatoloum Sayo, which occurred on the evening of Tuesday 10 February 2015. This positive outcome is the result of multiple efforts since the abduction of Mr. Sayo on 25 January 2015.

  • 14 Oct 2014 - The United Nations Stabilization Mission in Central African Republic, MINUSCA condemns the attack by armed elements who opened fire Friday night on a police patrol in the "Combatants neighborhood" of the 8th arrondissement of the capital Bangui leaving six wounded peacekeepers. These repeated attacks against UN peacekeepers must stop immediately.
