17 Jun 2016 - The United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) is deeply concerned by the escalating violence seen since June 10, 2016 in Ngaoundaye, Ouham Pende Prefecture, in the west of CAR. A series of attacks and retaliation acts between self-defense groups supported by anti-Balaka and transhumance herders supported by the ex-Seleka has caused a deterioration in the security situation.

13 Jun 2016 - The United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) calls on communities of PK5, in the 3rd district of Bangui, to exercise restraint and calm. The Mission urges them not to give way to violence, revenge and manipulation. In this regard, MINUSCA strongly condemns the attack on a motorcycle taxi driver on June 11 that led to the death of the driver of the vehicle and injured another citizen.

09 Jun 2016 - The United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) takes note of the report published by Human Rights Watch on 7 June 2016 on the killings allegedly committed by soldiers of the Republic of Congo in Boali, Mambéré and Berberati between December 2013 and June 2015.

07 Jun 2016 -Two peacekeepers of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA), Alex Katurebe and Mbot Gustave Maitre, from Rwanda and Cameroon respectively, succumbed to their injuries on June 5 2016, as a result of traffic accidents.

25 Mar 2016 - The United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) has received new information of allegations of sexual exploitation and abuse both by UN and non-UN forces and civilians in the Kemo prefecture of the Central African Central African Republic. These allegations reportedly refer to incidents that occurred in 2014 and 2015.

04 Mar 2016 -The UN, the AU, the ECCAS, the EU and the IOF welcome the final results of the second round of the presidential elections in the Central African Republic announced by the Transitional Constitutional Court on 1 March 2016 which were conducted peacefully with the active participation of the Central African people.

20 Feb 2016 -The Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General in the Central African Republic, Parfait Onanga-Anyanga, takes note of the provisional results of the second round of the presidential election held on 14 February announced this Saturday by the National Elections Authority (ANE).
