10 Feb 2016 - A United Nations report to be released later this month details grave violations and abuses of human rights committed following the eruption of violence in Bangui, capital of the Central African Republic, from 26 September to 20 October 2015. This period was marked by the targeting and killing of civilians, and widespread looting and burning of houses and property, among other human rights violations.
04 Feb 2016 - The UN Mission in Central African Republic has identified seven new possible victims of sexual exploitation and abuse in Bambari. These cases were brought to the Mission’s attention on 21 January by a team of Human Rights Watch researchers, who passed this information to MINUSCA in the interest of ensuring medical and psycho-social care for the victims and accountability for any alleged crimes.
05 Jan 2016 - As the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) is investigating fresh allegations concerning both sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) and other misconduct by UN Peacekeepers and international forces in Bangui, SRSG Parfait Onanga-Anyanga and the Force Commander today met with members of MINUSCA Military and the Police in the Central African’s capital.

15 Dec 2015 - On Tuesday, MINUSCA took control of strategic points in the city of Ndele, in the Bamingui Bangoran prefecture (northeast of the Central African Republic), after FPRC elements (Ex-Seleka coalition) raised a flag last night at the local police station (Gendarmerie).
12 Dec 2015 - G8 members welcomes the progress made by the National Electoral Authority in the organization of the forthcoming elections in the Central African Republic (CAR), scheduled on 13 and 27 December for the constitutional referendum and the first round of presidential and legislative elections, respectively, followed by the second round on 31 January 2016.
